Steve Haines
is a CEO,
entrepreneur, and strategist. He is also a facilitator and systems
thinker as Managing Partner and founder of the Centre. He is a
distinguished author and internationally recognized leader in
strategic management. He has an M.S.A. in Organization Behavior with a
minor in financial management. He has also completed his course work
requirements and dissertation research for an Ed.D. in Management. He has over
25 years of executive experience leading planning, leadership, and
change efforts in the U.S., Canada, and globally as well. Steve is a
U.S. Naval Academy engineering graduate, Naval officer, and was
president and part owner of University Associates Consulting and
Training Services. He was also EVP at Imperial Corporation of America,
SVP of Freddie Mac, and a member of eight top management teams. He is
in demand as a CEO keynote speaker and is a prolific author of nine
books.

management, HR management, and leadership development. Jim was a
senior leadership consultant for the Ontario government, Executive
Director of Staff Development for the Saskatchewan government, and a
senior internal consultant for Canada's largest investor-owned
utility. He was a Banff Centre for Management faculty member from

specializes

evaluation. As a Presbyterian minister, he has a Ph.D. in
Leadership, an M.S.W., and a bachelor's degree in Divinity. John's
extensive experience is in government and not-for-profits, as well
as the Presbyterian Church. He has facilitated county-based
comprehensive strategic human services planning and spearheaded the
development of West Jersey Presbytery's Strategic Plan, among other

Gary Rossi,
CPCM, CBC, a San Diego based Principal, is the Centreís Practice
Leader for Performance Excellence and Process Improvement (PI). His
10 years experience in performance excellence and PI comes from
serving on the Board of Examiners for the Hawaiian Quality Award,
the Presidential Quality Award (PQA) and the California Award for
Performance Excellence (CAPE). He is a CAPE Senior Examiner, Trainer
and Examiner Mentor. He also coaches and edits performance
excellence and quality award applications. Gary serves as an
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Senior Member and an
internationally Certified Quality Manager. He holds a Master of Arts
